We’ve been hearing from our community that moms want more chances to connect with others whose schedules and day-to-day lives look like theirs. So this fall, we’re testing out a few gatherings specifically for stay-at-home and working moms.
Thursday, October 1
10:30am
Grind n Gears Cafe
8030 W. Oakton St, Niles, IL 60714
Join us for a morning of coffee, connection, and play for stay-at-home moms and babies up to 14 months old.
Babble Buddies will lead an interactive circle time for babies, with plenty of time before and after to grab a coffee and get to know other moms.
Tickets include the Babble Buddies class + one beverage from local parent-owned cafe, Grind n Gears.
Sunday, October 25
10:30am
Double Clutch Brewing
2121 Ashland Ave, Evanston, IL 60201
Join a group of working moms in a similar season of life for a relaxed morning of yoga & connection.
We’ll kick things off with a one-hour class led by mom-owned yoga popup Tired Mom Yoga. Then stick around for a drink and some time to connect at Double Clutch Brewing.
Tickets include the yoga class + one drink. Bring your own yoga mat, and blocks if you’d like them.
Over the past several years, we've had the privilege of listening to hundreds of expecting and new moms. One thing has been clear: building community shouldn't feel like another thing on your to-do list. Moms are looking for simple, welcoming ways to connect with others who are navigating a similar season of life.
That's why every ParentConnect event is thoughtfully designed with the perinatal journey in mind. Whether it's movement, conversation, learning, or simply spending time together, our gatherings create opportunities to build meaningful local friendships, find support, and enjoy moments of joy and self-care along the way. We'd love for you to join our growing community.
